My daughter called 911 when my son's truck started on fire in my driveway, even though it hadn't been driven (or started) for 3 days. The call was cancelled within minutes because the fire was put out with a fire extinguisher. 20-30 minutes later they showed up anyway. Did nothing, & I got a bill for $ 600.00! I called the fire department & spoke with the person in charge. (Bill?) I explained the situation, & he said he would look into it. Never heard from him again, & the $ 600.00 was added to my property taxes. I am disabled & that amount is alot of money to me! The original call was cancelled right away. When they arrived they did nothing, then left! I was shocked & disappointed! I called them to try & have it looked into. Nothing!
